Camera Control

Our Cam Control (CC) is used to manage up to two sensor heads. The sensor heads are connected via 1.5m copper cable. The Cam Control is connected via fiber cable (default 5m, up to 100m on demand) to the PCIe interface board of the PC. Also the Cam Control can be equipped with additional options.

The Cam Control as well as the IO Control can be chained to other cameras of series 3001 (up to 8 cameras).

Sensors for sensor head

The best choice for spectroscopy applications are the Hamamatsu PDA's (Photo Diode Arrays) when long exposuretimes are needed or FFT's (CCD-arrays, FFT: Full Frame Transfer) with especially large pixel sizes and increased sensitivity for low light applications. The FFT can be used in binning mode to reduce the read noise. The InGaAs IR sensors are even available with an extended range (G11608).

The maximal line rate (mlr) and the noise is shown on the following tables. The noise is the root mean square value in counts (cnt) of 16 bit of a single pixel over 100 scans.
